GAVA RECEIVES CITATION FROM ACCRA METROPOLITAN ASSEMBLY

The Accra Metropolitan Assembly (AMA) has presented a citation to Ghana Association of Visual Artists (GAVA) in recognition of its efforts to the cause of making Accra a beautiful city through public art in open spaces and for its contribution in making the city clean and beautiful where all can live in and love it.
At a brief ceremony which took place at the City Hall on Sunday 12th January, 2020 to officially put off the Christmas lights in the city, the Metropolitan Chief Executive (MCE) of Accra, Mohammed Adjei Sowah expressed his appreciation, stating the contributions of GAVA and other entities; Ghana Graffiti, Mullen Lowe Limited and Jandel Limited, who were also given citations.
The Municipal Chief Executive of Accra Hon. Mohammed Adjei Sowah emphasized the consultancy advice and practical projects received from GAVA and the other recognized entities, indicating that a lot more could be realized towards fulfilling the Presidents vision of making Accra the cleanest city without focusing only on waste management, but also ultimately making Accra beautiful.
The MCE of Koley Klottey Municipal Assembly (KOKMA) Hon. Nii Adjei Tawiah in a remark pledged to continue the partnership with stakeholder organisations to keep the city beautiful.
